A slapstick opera, feminist fan revue and play for a stage plus exhibition.
Set somewhere between a church and a clinic where Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Hildegard von Bingen can meet – on wheels. Featuring: The Major Arcana, dancing Skeletons, a PMS choir and hip bone candles.
Besides dancing, hunting demons, reciting medieval monophonic chants, meditating on their guts and lighting candles, they quote pop culture, activist slogans, historic texts and contemporary theories on care, emotional labour, body politics and feminism. They consider the possibility of a revolution and its links to our collective health and available discourses on illness.
